Allan and Nesta Ferguson Scholarship at University of East Anglia, UK 2024

The Allan and Nesta Ferguson Scholarship offers an amount of £29,997.75 to candidates who are pursuing a full time one year Masters program, in the School of Global Development at UEA.



This scholarship covers the tuition fees for the chosen course. Also provides a maintenance grant of £12,000. The grant is intended to assist with living expenses, travel costs and visa related expenses for students residing in the UK.


The scholarship is specifically available for Masters programs.

Applicants should submit their applications by April 19, 2024.

A total of 4 scholarships will be awarded to deserving candidates.

The value and duration of each scholarship include tuition coverage of £17,952 along with an additional grant amounting to £12,045.

In total the scholarship has a value of £29,997.75.

Successful applicants, from any listed country can receive this scholarship based on their need.

To be eligible, for this scholarship opportunity;


  • You must meet the requirements of the course.
  • Applicants should either be a citizen. Permanently reside in one of the countries mentioned in the 'Eligible Countries section located at the top of this page.
  • You should not be receiving any scholarships or awards concurrently.
  • Demonstrating genuine financial need is a requirement.
