The Qatar Airways National Scholarship Program 2024 is a funded scholarship to Qatari nationals (or those with Qatari mothers). This scholarship offers support for masters and PhD studies. It provides a stipend and exciting global opportunities such as internships within the Qatar Airways Group.

As part of its commitment to nationalization efforts Qatar Airways has established a National University Studies Scholarship Program. This program supports students in pursuing studies at educational institutions within Qatar or abroad. With 23 different degree majors available, ranging from aviation management to journalism to business students have a range of subjects to choose from.

The duration of the program varies depending on the level of study. For degrees it typically takes four years while masters degrees can be completed in two years and PhD programs span over three years. The application deadline, for all programs is December 31 2023.

Eligibility Requirements for the Qatar Airways National Scholarship Program;

To be eligible for the Qatar Airways National Scholarship Program you must meet the following criteria;

You must be a Qatari citizen or have a Qatari mother.

You must be 18 years of age or older and complete your degree by the age of 29.

Your Secondary School Education Certificate should align with the grading scale set by the Ministry of Education & Higher Education with a score of 80% or higher.

If you are a citizen you need to achieve a score of 5.5 or above in IELTS with no component scoring less than 5.

If you have a mother you need to achieve a score of 6.0 or above in IELTS with no component scoring less than 5.5.

You must successfully pass the interview conducted by Qatar Airways.

You should possess an offer letter from a university approved by the Ministry of Education & Higher Education in Qatar.

Note; Graduated high school students are required to complete service. However if you receive a confirmed offer letter, from one of the universities listed in the Higher Education Emiri Scholarship program you will be exempted from this requirement. Please refer to this [link] for information.
