Eligibility Criteria


To be eligible for Cornell University Aid for International Students applicants must meet the following requirements;


1. Language Requirement; Proficiency in English is necessary.

2. Eligible Countries; All countries around the world.

3. All applicants must fulfill the testing requirements such as SAT or ACT.

4. Applicants must. Submit the CSS profile to verify their need.

5. A minimum TOEFL IBT score of 100 or IELTS score of 7 is required.

6. For arts, sciences and engineering majors it is mandatory to take two SAT subject tests with a focus on math, for engineering students.

7. Depending on your chosen college or major you may be required to take SAT subject tests.

8. Other majors do not require SAT subject tests.

9. Submission of three years worth of high school records is necessary.

10. All transcripts and certificates must be official. Translated into English.
