Step-by-Step Procedure for 2024 Aga Khan Foundation Scholarships

The Aga Khan Foundation International Scholarships welcome applications, from students who wish to pursue a masters degree at any university excluding institutions, in the United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden, Austria, Denmark, The Netherlands, Italy, Norway and Ireland.

The Aga Khan Foundation offers a number of scholarships every year to students, from specific developing countries. These scholarships aim to support students who lack the means to finance their postgraduate studies. The goal is to foster the development of scholars and leaders who can contribute effectively within the AKDN. The selection process for these scholarships is competitive. Takes place once a year in June or July.

While the Foundation primarily prioritizes applications for Masters level programs it is open to considering requests for PhD programs, from students who receive recommendations from their professors and require a doctoral degree to achieve their career goals whether in academia or research oriented fields.

We do not accept applications, for short term courses. We also do not consider applications, from students who have already commenced their studies.
